Congratulations go to Post 22 on their many awards at convention representing all the good works done by our Legionnaires!
Unit 22 members your hard work paid off. We brought home seven awards plus a commendation. Thank you for reporting all of your accomplishments and taking the time to turn in good reports. I am pleased to report that we won in the following categories: two for veterans, music, children and youth, poppies and best reporting for District 6. Thank you everyone!
Also congratulations go to our new District 6 Director Joyce Jenkins and her new District 6 First Vice, Martie Linn and District 6 Historian Donna Roberts.
We will have an organizational meeting Monday, July 11th at 6:30 at the Post. Please come and bring your ideas for the upcoming year. On Saturday August 6th at 9:00, Unit 22 will be hosting Department President Irene Lewis and the Executive Board. We will be providing lunch if you are interested in helping.
Our first regular meeting will be September 1, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Hope to see you there.
