First off, a
big thanks to Gary Dunn for rounding up membership and everyone that
paid their 2012 dues before the New Year. If you haven't, it’s not too
late.
On
December 11th we put on a breakfast for the membership round-up, We had
members on the Department level as well as the National level come in
and enjoy our cooking.
National Vice Commander, Chris Huntzinger of Pennsylvania enjoyed our hospitality and was impressed with our post home.
Even
more so, when we handed him 89 memberships for the round-up. On the
maple syrup, he said hasn’t had any before and quite pleased with the
gift.
By the time you receive this we would have already helped out with the Christmas baskets and thanks to all of those involved.
The
next SAL fundraiser is New Years Eve. We are putting on the meal and
would like help with the event and cleaning up after so we can also
enjoy the evening.
